There is a girl waiting for a family in China that I have to advocate for. She is on WACAP's waiting child list. I have had her file looked at by an orthopedic surgeon. Her special need is limb difference. She will most likely need an amputation of her lower left leg and prosthetic lower leg replaced each year as she grows. She is missing some fingers possibly from amniotic band syndrome. Her birthday is today. She is 5 years old!! I literally saw her file a WEEK after getting home with Laila. She has been on my mind all this time and nothing would make me happier than knowing she has a family coming for her.
